Austrian Kickstarter Campaign – Travel Tech

We were referred by a communications consultant to an Austrian startup with a patented Kevlar technology for travel cameras. They were preparing for a social media-driven Kickstarter campaign and wanted earned media to drive extra credibility.

Over several weeks, we worked with them to hone their messaging, media kit, and overall targets both in the U.S. and in Europe. We targeted several mid and upper-tier technology media outlets, securing several features the week of the launch. The client said that the placements generated immediate credibility and – most importantly, $15,000 in sales from one of the placements.
