The public is often galvanized when legislation is discussed or regulations are introduced. But behind the scenes on both sides of any issue are often influence campaigns months or years in the planning, designed to influence just a few dozen people across the power centers of state and federal government.
Our team has provided public affairs support to a client whose interests range from health care and small business to national security and foreign affairs. The goal wasn’t to create a groundswell of support; the client’s audience was much narrower: influencing Members of Congress, their staff, and federal agency leaders to take specific actions.
